Charles Chocolates: Charles Chocolates is the story of one man's dedication to the art of chocolate, his pursuit of perfection and a complete and total passion for producing only the finest confections. Chuck (Charles) Siegel has been a part of the San Francisco chocolate scene since 1987. With Charles Chocolates, Chuck has set out to redefine the world of fine chocolate confections. He uses only the finest ingredients, including some of the world's best chocolates, organic herbs, fruits and nuts as well as organic cream and butter from Straus Dairy. Everything is made by hand in very small batches using traditional techniques, and all of the chocolates are shipped to our customers within three days of being created. This dedication to perfection is evident in each piece of chocolate. Every one is both bold and delicate - the perfect combination of flavor and texture. Charles Chocolates contain no artificial ingredients or preservatives. Included is a half-pound box containing such sinful tastes as:
- Mojito Heart: A fresh mint infused lime ganache with a splash of dark Jamaican rum encased in a blended bittersweet/milk heart
- Earl Grey Truffle: An infusion of organic earl grey tea in a bittersweet chocolate ganache
- The Meyer Lemon Yankee: A Meyer lemon marmalade, bittersweet chocolate ganache in blended bittersweet/milk wedge.
Recchiuti Confections: Founded by Michael and Jacky Recchiuti, the company is known for its blend of contemporary San Franciscan style and traditional European technique. Natural ingredients with global influences create the freshest, most distinct flavors you'll find anywhere. French artisan methods and small batches yield uncompromising quality. Michael has been dubbed the "Picasso" of San Francisco chocolatiers by Gourmet magazine, and Real Simple magazine named Recchiuti Confections "Best High-End Artisanal Chocolates." Included is the Green box, a collection of eight pieces offering a delicate assortment of fresh herb and tea infused chocolates such as:
- Star Anise and Pink Peppercorn: Fragrant star anise and crushed pink peppercorn infused in semi-sweet chocolate ganache. Enrobed in pure milk chocolate and tipped with Venezuelan white chocolate.
- Tarragon Grapefruit: Tarragon leaves infused in extra-bitter chocolate ganache and topped with a sliver of candied grapefruit peel. Enrobed in pure bittersweet chocolate.
